An emulsifying cleansing oil that transforms into a soft, milky emulsion upon contact with water. It gently yet effectively removes makeup, sunscreen, and impurities, leaving the skin soft, soothed, and balanced. Made in Finland, vegan, palm oil-free, and fragrance-free.

EkoElsa's Calendula Cleansing Oil/Milk combines the power of oil cleansing with the lightness of a milk cleanser. When emulsified with water, the oil transforms into a soft, milky emulsion that removes dirt, makeup, and excess sebum without drying out the skin.

Calendula is known for its skin-soothing and balancing properties. It can help reduce skin dryness, redness, dark spots, and acne. With regular use, the skin feels soft, supple, and radiant.

Instructions for use

  1. Massage the oil onto dry skin in circular motions. You can use a gua sha tool at this stage, as the oil makes the facial skin wonderfully smooth. Massaging the face allows the oil to absorb deeper and opens pores, removing dirt and sebum more effectively.

  2. Add a little warm water – the oil turns milky.

  3. Wipe off the oil and impurities with the terry side of the Ekoliina cloth.

  4. Finish the cleansing with EkoElsa's Rose Water.

Tip for a perfect facial treatment:

1. First, cleanse makeup and dirt with the gentle Calendula Cleansing Oil/Milk using an Ekoliina cloth.

2. After oil cleansing, choose a suitable EkoElsa facial soap: Carrot-Oat or Sisu Activated Charcoal Salt Soap. Lather the soap in your hands and massage the foam onto your facial skin. Rinse thoroughly with water.

3. Finish the cleansing with EkoElsa's organic rose water using the Ekoliina linen side.

4. Treat yourself to a pampering facial mask made from deep-cleansing Bentonite Clay (approx. once a week).

5. Finish your clean skin with creamy shea butter.

Tip: If desired, enhance cleansing with EkoElsa's Carrot-Oat facial soap or Sisu Activated Charcoal Salt Soap and finish with EkoElsa's Rose Water.

 

What does it contain?

  1. Sunflower oil - for its moisturizing and softening properties. It is a light oil that absorbs quickly into the skin and is rich in vitamin E and other essential fatty acids.

  2. Castor oil - its cleansing properties are superior. Castor oil helps the skin regenerate by increasing moisture and circulation and stimulating skin functions. This also helps wounds and acne heal faster. Castor oil is also said to boost eyelash growth, a side effect that may pleasantly surprise you.

  3. MCT oil - because it is an excellent moisturizer. MCT oil, derived from coconut, prevents dryness and itching, and its light texture makes it an excellent skincare oil even for oily and acne-prone skin.

  4. Calendula oil - Calendula oil is made by infusing dried calendula flowers in sunflower oil. This brings out the soothing and regenerating properties of calendula best. Thanks to calendula, this cleansing oil is also suitable for sensitive skin.
