Weekly Letter 6: Wellbeing Moments Making Soap

Weekly letter no. 6 was filmed in the bushes. A company called Pirren Pesula is moving into the neighboring hall, and the sounds of renovation promise something new. We decided to go out for the shoot because the weather was wonderfully fresh and we enjoy being in nature.

More brown beauties at Elsa's Eco Workshop hen house

Mari's weekend included the settling in of three young hen maidens. These hens came from a nearby house; Helge, an entrepreneur in the cleaning service industry, decided to take a break from chickens, and we had the honor of bringing these lovely maidens to Elsa's Eco Workshop hen house to lay beautiful orange yolks for our solid shampoos. The hens are named Cinnamon, Pepper, and Chocolate, and because they spent the summer traveling between the cottage and home with the family, they became "reisikanat" (traveling chickens) (Helge was born in Estonia, and the funny differences in languages sometimes get colorfully mixed up).

Pepper, Cinnamon, and Chocolate, or the traveling chickens

It's wonderful that we have more diligent layers for our two egg shampoos. The yolks for Silkkitipu solid shampoo and Pepe 2-in-1 dog solid shampoo will not run out anytime soon.

Jenni spent the weekend visiting relatives and attending a knitting retreat, knitting in nature.

Soap workshops are back!

Last week, after a long time, we hosted a work group. A company called Sectomo has previously sent one group to gain well-being from soap making. We had such a wonderful time together that we don't know whose well-being increased more, ours as soap sisters, or that of Sectomo's employees :)

For this reason, we decided to redefine this relaxing service, and this autumn, we are offering a completely new type of service, namely:

A moment of well-being making soap

The goal of this two-hour session is to create something concrete and out of the ordinary together. Each participant gets to make two different soaps using their creativity. The soap is made using a "quick method," meaning that once hardened, the finished soap can be taken home immediately and used for washing.

Ready-made soap base is used for making the soap. The shape of the soap is determined by the chosen mold. We have dozens of different mold options, including Christmas, Halloween, and Easter themes, animals, flowers, and buildings. Some molds are more challenging and intricate, while others are simple yet beautiful.

You can freely choose the color, scents, and natural ingredients for your soap. Essential oils and natural fragrance oils, clay, nettle, oats, calendula, and activated charcoal are available. By mixing colors, you can achieve your desired shade.

Adults can freely play and create new things. The unique creations can be taken home after they have hardened in the refrigerator for a while. You will leave us relaxed and smiling, with elevated team spirit.

Elsa, an eighth-grader exploring working life

This week, we are being helped by a young eighth-grader named Elsa (what a lovely name). She is exploring working life by packaging soap and managing our online store. We warmly welcome young students exploring working life; they are the future.

With well-being autumn greetings,

The Soap Sisters

Mari and Jenni
