We'll give you the best gift shopping tips and introduce a special and coveted product that we don't sell online, but which is only available at Elsan Ekopaja's physical store. We'll also reveal our latest turns: Elsan Ekopaja is moving again!

Introducing the man behind Elsan Ekopaja
From the very beginning, a very important man has been involved in Elsan Ekopaja's activities and as a shareholder. He has handled all tasks requiring physical strength, numbers, and spatial perception. For example, he has personally built Elsan Ekopaja's soap molds and cutters, the soap cutting table, and the chicken coop where the Silkies live. This man still stands 100% behind Elsan Ekopaja, though these days he works elsewhere during the day. This man is top-notch! He is Mari's beloved husband and Elsa's heart-angel father, Pekka.

Father's Day gift ideas:
Thanks to Pekka, our soap collection includes very masculine products. We can thank Pekka, for example, for the creation of our effective tar products.
Pehtoorin Terva Soap
has super fine skincare properties. It nourishes damaged skin and is therefore excellent for daily washing of psoriatic and irritated skin.

on the other hand, has received praise for its scalp-caring properties. A man named Robin had suffered from an itchy and flaky scalp his entire adult life. Not even the most advertised anti-dandruff shampoo on the market had helped, but rather worsened the problem. Robin loved tar and was excited about the new shampoo his wife bought him. We created this product for summer excursions. But as winter approaches, we have noticed the irreplaceable nature of tar balm against winter's dry and chapped skin. You know that feeling when your lips dry out like sandpaper and the corners of your mouth crack?
This happened to Mari over the weekend when she was moving her adult son to Jyväskylä for a new chapter in his life. Moving dust, car air conditioning, and sweating made Mari's lips scream for help! Of course, she hadn't packed any creams for the trip... At home, Mari grabbed the tar balm and, contrary to her habits (Mari doesn't like tar), she applied it to her lips and the corners of her mouth. By morning, her lips and the corners of her mouth had completely healed! No lip balm had ever worked so quickly and immediately before.
Hockey Soap
Men usually like hockey. And they are happy to wash themselves with Hockey Soap. Hockey Soap is a fun, black puck. At Elsan Ekopaja's store, you can also find a very special product, namely Apulanta soap! This product is only available from Apulanta's own fan merchandise store and our factory outlet. Men love this product; it's a black salt soap with a rugged scent combination.

And best of all, we've extended our factory outlet's opening hours! From now on, the doors are open Mon-Fri from 10 am to 5 pm! (previously 10 am to 4 pm)
And now for the big reveal:
Elsan Ekopaja has decided to move! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the current factory hall, but there are a few things we would like to add. We want to be close to our customers, as well as Heinola's flowing waters, ridge parks, and our own home. Our commute will be shortened by kilometers, and we will be able to get to work without a car.

We found a suitable business space in the same place where Elsan Ekopaja started about 4 years ago. The address is Siltakatu 12, and we will also open a shop there in January -25. The shop will be open weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm and perhaps sometimes on Saturdays.
