Soap factory in Heinola

The spring 2022 Elsan Ekopaja is all about big changes. We got 2 amazing women as entrepreneurs, Tiina Murro and Jenni Äijälä.

The changes continued and we also decided to acquire facilities better suited for production. The soap cafe was allowed to go down in history and we decided to focus solely on soap production. We got the perfect premises right near the Heinola northern motorway exit, an industrial hall suitable for our operations. We renovated the space to give it its own look and color and function for soap production. We were able to move in April and the furniture slowly found its place. Production started quickly and a small shop went up near the front door.

We make the soaps in the production kitchen. We are able to work efficiently and cleanly in a well-ventilated space in the kitchen. In addition, the premises have air conditioning, which also guarantees optimal working conditions for the manufacturers all year round.

The soap is cut and dried in another room, where the soap is also packaged and sent to the world.

A factory store was naturally located near the outer door of the storage room. From there we sell the entire production at an affordable factory store price. There are also occasional finds that you can't get from our online store, e.g. 2- quality soap and local handicrafts.

Driving directions: Turn from the A4 motorway Heinola north exit in the direction of Heinola. At the traffic circle, take the first right in the direction of ABC. From the ABC exit, turn left (i.e. in the opposite direction from ABC) and drive approx. 150 meters. After the bend, you will see a light-colored hall, at the end of which it says Elsa Ekopaja soap factory shop in big letters. Park the car and enter.

We are open on weekdays, that is

mon-fri 10-16

and also whenever we are there.

If you don't visit us during our opening hours, our soap selection is also on sale at the local food market in Heila, that is, right next to ABC.
