Babies:
Elsa's Ekopaja has its own products for babies. Humans are born with nature's own protective mantle and it should not be disturbed with chemicals or unnecessary washing. Washing with water is often enough. Of course, really hard dirt sometimes needs to be washed with soap, and for that we developed Fairy Marigold Soap. This completely fragrance-free and gentle piece does not dry out the baby's skin or strip off the protective layer.
However, clothes are put on babies. What to wash clothes with is a headache for many mothers. The detergent must be effective but completely chemical-free. Many products marketed for sensitive skin are something completely different, and many parents have to do far too many of these experiments. During the Corona period, children's ability to acquire natural resistance has been severely limited. When Corona showed its first waves, a big topic of conversation in families was hand washing. We also wrote the sentence on the edge of the toilet basin at home: "Wash your hands and Sing the spider". It was fun at the time, until our children's natural laziness kicked in and hand washing became "turn on the tap and wet your fingertips that you wipe dry with a towel in one swipe" again. To make hair washing easier, we developed shampoo bars that the child can distinguish by shape and color during the bath. It was a child's brilliant idea to go shopping for shampoo to explain to his parents that now he no longer has trouble finding shampoo. This child could not read yet and finding the shampoo bottle among the other bottles had been difficult. Bar shampoos are distinguished from bar soaps by their round shape. Sometimes we found a laundry detergent suitable for the skin, but then we had to find a new one again if this detergent left the market. From time to time, Anna also had to take allergy medicine because she even got rashes from the sheets she slept on during the overnight trip to the village.
Anna's chemically sensitive skin was the reason for the birth of Elsa's Eco Shop. I had been looking for a new washing powder for a long time without success. I ended up looking for information on how to make washing powder myself. One guide suggested grated cleaning soap and other natural carbonates. However, I was short of cleaning soap, so I decided to try making it myself. The washing powder succeeded beyond all expectations and after that I have been assured that I don't need to look for a new brand of powder anymore, I had managed to make it myself, and we would never run out of it. Since then, Anna hasn't had any pimples and the allergy medicines have been useless.
Children are in contact with clothes and sheets almost 100% of the time. The skin is the largest human organ that is in constant interaction with its environment. A teenager needs help, and you can get that from nature too. Aluminum in deodorants has scared me for a long time. I have given up antiperspirants in my case, but aluminum-free deodorants are far too few and available in very few places. During the fall of 2022, I am developing an effective and non-toxic deodorant for the needs of the young age group. Although sweat smells bad, it is still not harmful. Sweating is a very important channel for the body to get rid of toxins and it should be allowed to flow naturally from the armpits. Only the smell of sweat should be controlled with deodorant. My mission is to create a product cool enough for young people, which as if by itself eliminates the need to use aluminum in the armpits. It's worth staying tuned.
We have developed an exact product for a young person's face. Carrot-oat face soap is a natural cleanser for impure young skin. We have received feedback about the product from both young people and adults. It leaves the skin clean and soft.
