Honey-Chocolate Solid Lotion's name

is quite delicious. So is the bar itself, apparently. The people in our family haven't tasted the bar, but Mari's dog Siru does find the lotion jar if it's left on the table. This is because Siru's cracked paws are often moisturized with the Honey-Chocolate bar, so she recognizes the scent and taste of this bar even when the jar is closed. Siru bites open the jar, devours the cream, and happily burps. And although the mischievous dog Siru's fur shines for a couple of weeks after eating the cream, we still do not recommend the bar for internal consumption, only for skin and paws.

In the picture, Siru poses with a Shea Butter jar. Siru's paws are usually cared for with this: Shea Butter.

Honey-Chocolate Solid Lotion is wonderful to spread on the skin. Its fragrant softness is something indescribable. Next, we will explain the contents of the solid lotion so you understand why Honey-Chocolate solid lotion truly works!

First, some truly excellent customer feedback:

Hunajasuklaa palavoide

*****Our customer, who has been using Honey-Chocolate solid lotion on her child's atopic skin for a long time, sent us before and after pictures. She had gone on a business trip and forgotten to tell the child's caregiver that the child's skin should be moisturized with Honey-Chocolate solid lotion after washing. In just three days, the child's thighs had become red-spotted and itchy. Our customer, upon returning home, started moisturizing the child's skin with the solid lotion again, and in three days, the skin was healthy and itch-free again. Our customer was so grateful for the solid lotion's effectiveness that she took pictures of the child's thighs and sent them to us. Thank you to the mother for this wonderful story.

So what does Honey-Chocolate Solid Lotion contain?

Contains Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter is rich in fatty acids and has the ability to moisturize and nourish the skin, as well as improve its elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective layer on the skin's surface, locking in moisture. Cocoa butter contains abundant natural plant compounds called phytochemicals. Cocoa butter is a hard vegetable butter at room temperature, which keeps the Honey-Chocolate bar in its solid form.
Contains Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Coconut oil helps moisturize the skin, relieve inflammation, accelerate wound healing, and treat acne.

Honey-Chocolate solid lotion is a skin-protecting and nourishing bar that can be massaged directly onto the skin. Here are some uses for the bar:

-Hardened soles of feet. Moisturize your feet before going to bed and put on socks. This multiplies the moisturizing effect of the cream. For foot care, we do not recommend scraping off dead skin at all. In fact, we have noticed that the soles of the feet produce more dry skin at an accelerated rate if it is scraped off. Simply washing, moisturizing with solid lotion, and wearing socks overnight is much more effective in the long run. If you like foot baths, by all means take them, but skip the scraping and switch to gentler methods.

***** Excellent product, five-star product review

This product truly surprised me positively: I have tried dozens of products for very dry soles of feet and cracked heels, and this is the only one that has genuinely worked! In a few days, my soles are significantly softer, the cracking has stopped, and the skin even feels cared for and healthy. Strong recommendation for this product.               -Kaisa Kanninen

-Cuticles and dry hands. The bar is easy to carry in your handbag. After every hand wash, take the bar, rub it lightly in your hands, and spread the cream on your hands. For intensive treatment of dry cuticles, rub the corner of the bar into your cuticles and spread the cream with your fingers.

-Use Honey-Chocolate solid lotion on damp skin after showering. This way, the properties of the solid lotion lock in the moisture after showering, and the skin doesn't dry out.

-All dry skin areas. Especially skin dried out by winter. Try it as a targeted treatment for atopic skin. Honey-Chocolate solid lotion has worked even when pharmaceutical products from the pharmacy no longer helped.

-Contains Domestic Camelina Oil.
Camelina oil is an effective treatment for dry skin because it increases skin moisture, improves sebaceous gland function, and enhances skin elasticity. Camelina oil soothes and effectively combats skin redness and inflammation. Its antibacterial and antiseptic properties naturally fight microbes, helping to prevent bacterial growth on the skin. Therefore, Camelina oil is beneficial for irritated atopic skin, as well as acne-prone skin. The fatty acids and vitamin E in Camelina oil moisturize, protect, and soothe the skin. Especially suitable for sensitive skin care.
The abundant amount of fatty acids and tocopherols make Camelina oil moisturizing, protective, and soothing. Camelina oil also effectively combats skin redness and inflammation, making it ideal for sensitive, fragile, and eczema-prone skin.

Here is feedback from one of our customers about the Honey-Chocolate solid lotion: In English and translated into Finnish.

*****"While visiting the 'I Love Me' event at Messukeskus, I came across the Elsan Ekopaja stand. I didn't know anything about the brand, but based on what I saw at the stand, it seemed they are producing natural cosmetics. For a few months, my 2.5-year-old daughter had been struggling with dry patches on her skin. We tried both natural cosmetics and pharmaceutical products, but nothing helped. It was only when I started using the "Hunajasuklaa palavoide" that the patches disappeared after just one week of use! Thank you so much! My daughter's skin has recovered, all thanks to your cosmetics!" -Emilia KvD

*****"Käydessäni Messukeskuksessa 'I Love Me' -tapahtumassa törmäsin Elsan Ekopajan osastoon. Iso kiitos! Tyttäreni iho on toipunut, kaikki kiitos teidän kosmetiikallenne!" -Emilia KvD

Honey-Chocolate solid lotion doesn't feel oily and absorbs quickly.

This is due, among other things, to the fat composition of the bar, and the fact that a little domestic potato starch has been added to the solid lotion. Potato starch also makes the product easier to spread and keeps the bar together better.
Contains Beeswax
Beeswax has many benefits for the skin:
Beeswax forms a protective barrier on the skin's surface, protecting your skin from environmental irritants and harsh weather conditions. Beeswax is a particularly exceptional wax because it does not clog pores (non-comedogenic), allowing the skin to breathe freely. This makes beeswax especially beneficial for acne-prone and sensitive skin. The barrier formed by beeswax protects the skin from external irritations, but also locks moisture into the skin, helping it stay soft and hydrated. Beeswax has fantastic skin-softening properties and improves skin elasticity, helping to reduce signs of aging. Beeswax is anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, and microbicidal. These
properties extend the shelf life of the solid lotion and reduce skin irritation.

***** The lotion bar is really good for dry feet. In addition, the scent is pleasant. I like it very much! -Tanja

Contains Shea Butter
Shea butter contains skin-conditioning fatty acids.
Shea butter eases skin irritation.
Shea butter contains two important antioxidants for the skin: vitamin and vitamin E.
Shea butter relieves symptoms of eczema and atopic dermatitis.
Shea butter also forms a mild sunscreen on the skin, equivalent to SPF 3-4.
Shea butter does not cause allergic reactions in individuals with nut allergies.

Contains Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory properties that help control chafing and cracking, reduce redness caused by dryness, and alleviate the effects of eczema and rosacea. Jojoba oil soothes and softens the skin.  The vitamin E and B-complex vitamins contained in Jojoba oil repair skin damage.

What Honey-Chocolate solid lotion does not contain?

Water. There are many lotions on the market, the majority of which are water. Water-based lotions have their place, but they are not always beneficial for treating dry and atopic skin.
Preservatives: The production of water-based lotions always requires a preservative, which a solid lotion does not need. Many people have unknowingly become sensitized to cosmetic preservatives over time, and therefore react to water-based cosmetics with even severe allergic symptoms.
Palm oil: A large part of cosmetic ingredients are derived from cheap palm oil. Consumers do not even have the means to find out which ingredients are palm oil derived, and thus harmful to the environment. The Honey Chocolate body butter contains only nourishing, pure, and environmentally harmless fats and oils.
ei palmuöljyä
Mineral oil. Petroleum is a cost-effective raw material for cosmetics and is commonly used in creams, lip balms, and ointments. Petroleum is made from crude oil, the same substance from which car engine oil and fuels come. The production of petroleum requires harsh chemicals; crude oil must be refined and bleached to be suitable as a cosmetic ingredient. However, the concentrations of harmful substances do not need to be measured, so the composition of petroleum can vary greatly between batches. As a cosmetic ingredient, petroleum/vaseline is inexpensive, but it tends to form a film on the skin, preventing the skin from breathing. This is evident, for example, in the fact that using lip balm does not help but rather increases the need for more application. We also do not approve of the environmental effects of this oil, and therefore we believe that this raw material should be left for the plastics and automotive industries.
Plastic: The Honey Chocolate body butter comes in a convenient metal tin. The stainless tin can be reused, for example, for storing small items.

Finally, a brief summary of the effects of the Honey Chocolate body butter ingredients on your skin:

Body butter moisturizes and nourishes the skin. Using Honey Chocolate body butter after a shower locks moisture into the skin. Body butter has anti-inflammatory and skin-repairing effects. The cream delivers essential vitamins and fatty acids deep into the skin layers. Body butter protects the skin from external irritants and climate but allows the skin to breathe naturally. Body butter is especially beneficial for dry and cracked heels and atopic skin areas.

How to use Honey Chocolate body butter?

Rub the bar in your hands and apply the cream to your skin. You can also rub the bar directly onto dry skin areas such as cuticles and heels. Especially use after a shower or sauna on damp skin. The body butter comes in a metal tin, which is convenient for storage and carrying.

Note! The bar contains oils that melt in the heat. Do not store the bar in a hot car or in direct sunlight! The cream may melt slightly and lose its shape, but it is still usable.

Finally, a story about why giving feedback always helps:

The scent of Honey Chocolate body butter is wonderful to many, but some find it too strong. We took our customers' feedback seriously, and our product developer Aliisa modified the body butter recipe so that the amount of scent was significantly reduced. The Honey Chocolate body butter still smells delightful, but in a way that does not bother the user or those sensitive to scents. We are truly grateful for your feedback; if you have anything, good or for improvement, please send comments either to this blog or via email: puoti@elsanekopaja.fi.
